Changes in Administrative Processes and Procedures
Most State VR agencies are changing aspects of their administrative processes and operational procedures to take full advantage of regulatory improvements, particularly Partnership Plus. Some necessary changes are dealt with in the rewritten Chapter 12 of the VR Providers Handbook (DOC). On November 12, 2008, SSA issued Transmittal 29, which replaces Chapter 12 of the Handbook, rescinds Transmittal 17, and deletes Chapter 13 of the Handbook which contains obsolete Ticket program Transmittals. Transmittal 29 provides guidance on the processing of VR CR claims based on changes in the Ticket regulations.
